Germany - Bielefeld to Cologne

You can see the massive gold Shrine of the Three Kings, near the high altar of Cologne Cathedral. It contains relics of the Three Wise Men or Magi and martyrs venerated by the church. This amazing medieval goldwork was completed around 1220 and weighs 300kg.
